I am passionate about meeting the needs of the dogs I work with and helping my clients. Give me a call for a free evaluation! Woof!
I was 10 years old on a trip to California when my parents took me to a show on ‘How to train your dog like a star’. There were lots of dogs performing all sorts of tricks, I was mesmerized. I went home with the hope of doing that some day. I became obsessed with training any animals I could get my hands on to perform tricks. I trained the 3 dogs we owned to do 25 commands, the cat 5 tricks and I even attempted to train our not so friendly hamster “teddy”..
My second job was boarding and training at a dog kennel at 16-years-old. I was hooked but my parents insisted that I attend college which I did, working with animals while I finished my education. I worked in the “real world” as a counselor for youths for about 4 years. But my love for dogs and dog training pulled at me. I went back to the dogs for good at the age of 23.Now it could be because I was born in the year of the dog (seriously) but now, going on 40, this is my passion and all I want to do. I love it and am always learning something new. I couldn’t ask for a better career.
When not working, training or playing with the dogs I enjoy fly fishing, outdoor activities, camping, hiking and traveling to fish new areas. I also serve on the board of Washington C.A.S.H. and do volunteer work around the community. Pant!
My goal is to offer outstanding & unique dog services. My mission is to consistently serve Seattle’s dogs & their owners through community, cooperation and education. I help dog owners’ with the everyday needs of their canine companions. I help, because I am a dog parent too. I help because I’m passionate about each and every dog. Wag!
I also understand all too well most everyone these days has to work full time. It’s practically impossible to provide all of what our dogs need on our own. I’m here to give you the help you need for your four-legged friend. The kind of help that will build your relationship together. Sniff!I constantly work with certified dog behavior experts and employ stellar consultants, a steering committee of sorts, to help me strategize and refine tactics to stay ahead of the pack. This team includes but is not limited to: Cary, Susan, Lisa, Brian, Washington CASH, Force 10, & Minshew Networks. Bark!

I have been training dogs professionally since 1996, have attended several dog training conferences all over the U.S. and every year add to my canine behavioral education through seminars, books, and videos. All my staff participates in continuing education because I find it important to stay current in the field. I want to give you peace of mind by treating your dogs like my own. It’s all about love and passion for dogs. All dogs are trained using positive dog friendly solutions that will strengthen the human-animal bond.
So quit chasing your tail! Sit! Stay! I’ll come to give you the help and guidance to build an amazing relationship with your four legged furry, because let’s face it, s/he really is your best friend.
